Ensure that the tile adhesive has fully set prior to grouting.\u003cbr\u003e2. Clean out all loose debris from the joints and ensure that they are clean and dry before grouting.\u003cbr\u003e3. Do not grout at temperatures less than 5ºC or in damp conditions.\u003cbr\u003eRecommendations (showers)\u003cbr\u003e- Provide waterproof tanking protection for tiling background (e.g. by using DUNLOP SHOWER WATERPROOFING KIT).\u003cbr\u003e- Ensure tiles are fixed with a water-resistant adhesive (e.g. DUNLOP RX-3000 WALL TILE ADHESIVE or DUNLOP Cement based adhesives).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMIXING\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e1. Mix in the ratio of approx. 4 parts powder to 1 part water by volume.\u003cbr\u003e2. Never mix the grout with more water than recommended as this could lead to the grout drying patchy. Add the powder to clean water\u003cbr\u003eand mix thoroughly until a smooth paste is obtained. Wait 2-3 minutes then briefly mix again. No further water should be added after\u003cbr\u003ethe original mixing.\u003cbr\u003e3. Only mix enough grout for 60 minutes working time at room temperature.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAPPLICATION\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e1. Check a test tile, especially unglazed floor tiles, to ensure that the mixed pigmented grout does not stain the face of the tile. A\u003cbr\u003eprotective sealer may be necessary such as DUNLOP TEMPORARY TILE SEALER.\u003cbr\u003e2. Work in small areas. Completely fill the tile joints with the aid of a rubber squeegee or grout float and compact well. Excess grout\u003cbr\u003eshould be removed as work proceeds.\u003cbr\u003e3. Allow approximately 15 minutes for the grout to dry sufficiently and firm up in the joints before cleaning off excess with a damp\u003cbr\u003esponge diagonally across the grout lines, use as little water as possible to “wash off” the grout Polish the tiles with a clean, dry\u003cbr\u003ecloth when the grout is sufficiently set.\u003cbr\u003e4. Tiles can be subject to normal conditions after a minimum of 24 hours. When grouting external areas, protect during and after\u003cbr\u003eapplication until fully cured.\u003cbr\u003e5. Swimming pools should not be filled for at least 3 weeks after completion of grouting.\u003cbr\u003e6.
